Therapeutic Yoga

Therapeutic Yoga is a self-empowering process, where the care-seeker and the Yoga therapist, create a personalized and evolving Yoga practice. This practice addresses the illness, injury or goals in a multi-dimensional manner and aims to alleviate suffering in a progressive, non-invasive and complementary manner.
Therapeutic Yoga helps alleviate symptoms and manage living with chronic conditions with a whole person approach to healing.  Therapeutic Yoga aims to create positive causes and conditions that allow your body-breath-mind to heal itself. 

Virtual Integrative Yoga Therapy 

Integrative Yoga Therapy combines Structural and Functional Yoga with Ayurveda, Psychology, Counselling, Holistic and Natural Health, and Trauma Release to create a unique, effective treatment. This technique provides patients with a depth of knowledge and insight to assist in managing current life challenges and meeting future goals. 
Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) bridges ancient yoga techniques with modern wisdom pinpointing imbalances in order to develop an individual path of health and wellness.  We believe that every human being consists of an integrated body-mind-spirit system that functions best when all parts are in balance. Personalized IYT guides each person to greater understanding and deeper awareness, while focused on the continuum of healing. Through one on one private consultation, a typical session will include: pain, injury and postural assessment, muscle strength, flexibility, range of motion, social and emotional evaluation of wellbeing. 

IYT can help you accomplish physical goals, manage emotional challenges, and discover spiritual direction.

Kelly uses a combination of talk and movement therapy, consisting of personalized therapeutic yoga shapes, breathing techniques, meditation strategies, deep relaxation tips, and spiritual exploration to accomplish your goals. 

You will receive a personalized home practice, recommendations for watching or reading, and email support between sessions.
